At our "other" home in Blewbury
We are Andrew and Adele Dunn, and we bought a cottage in the tiny hamlet of Les Chauses in the Dordogne, in the year 2000. For the past 5 years, we have rented it out and used it for our summer "holidays" - actually most of our holidays involved a lot of hard work making improvements! In 2005, we made a decision to move permanently to Les Chauses, but first we wanted to find another attractive cottage to continue our rental enterprise. In August 2005, we found Chez Denis, and we immediately recognised it as a beautiful place that people would want to come and stay.
However, we have some work to do
first, including building a swimming pool. In 2006, we will continue to rent Les
Chauses, whilst getting the work underway. In October 2006, we plan to
move to Les Chauses to continue working on Chez Denis to get it ready for our
guests. We hope to welcome our first guests to Chez Denis in 2007.
